Porsche 924 Turbo

White Series 1 Porsche 924 Turbo - 140 MPH, 0-60 MPH in 7 seconds - 153000 miles but the engine was rebuilt at just under 100,000 miles by the previous owner. Porsche sports seats front and rear - Original seats available (Pascha)

Fairly good condition overall. Needs a couple of things doing as listed below:

The lower pipework for the hydraulic clutch needs replacing (the actual clutch is fine) so the vehicle would need to be taken away on a trailer.

The turbo seal looks like it's seen better days too as there is a slight oil leak from it which sometimes leaks into the exhaust causing it to smoke occasionally.

As with most 924 Turbos, 1st gear synchro isn't at it's best after 24 years of use but I have put up with it without much fuss for over 2 years and the symptoms haven't got any worse.

Modifications and upgrades:

944 rear hatch (original for sale with vehicle), K&N Cone Air filter, braided brake hoses, Magnecor ignition leads

Repairs carried out from March 2002- Sept 2004:

Fuel lines replaced throughout (very expensive!)

Hydraulic clutch slave cylinder replaced

New discs and pads all round

Exhaust mountings replaced

New earthing straps fitted (to avoid the common problem of insufficient battery charging common with the 924)

I was planning to do track days but in the end never did so. I have a set of brand new Bilstein sport dampers, spare rear hatch and seats (front and rear) which I am selling with the vehicle as a package and is all inclusive in the price.
